I have always loved running but never had the opportunity to make it a priority in life. In January of this year, I ran in my first 5k since May of 2013 and fell in love. Since that day, I have completed a 5k each week and am getting ready for my 8th one this Saturday. My goal is to complete ten 5ks and then move on to complete ten 10ks before tackling a half marathon and then eventually a full marathon.
I would love to represent Team Beef because not only am I loving my new fitness journey, I am also a food blogger with a passion for beef. I have been focusing on creative recipes to help maintain my strength and endurance along this journey. Beef is a huge part of my training plan and I love health benefits of protein.
